Privacy Policy
SnapKnow exists to help people identify the world around them — not to harvest their data. This policy explains what we handle and why, in plain terms.
Your photos
The photo you upload is sent to our identification engine to produce a result, and is not saved to any account or database. We don't keep a copy of your images, and we don't use them to train models. Once your result is returned, the image is discarded.
What we collect
- Your email — only if you give it. If you join the launch list, we store your email address to contact you. Nothing else.
- Basic, aggregate usage. We keep a simple daily counter of how many identifications the service handles so we can stay within free infrastructure limits. It is not tied to you.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data.
- We don't store your photos.
- We don't run advertising trackers or build a profile of you.
Third parties
We use Cloudflare for hosting and AI inference, and Mailgun to send the occasional email if you've subscribed. These providers process data only to deliver the service.
